1. Quiénes somos
VidArchitect ("la app", "nosotros") es una herramienta de análisis y estrategia para creadores de YouTube, disponible en vidarchitect.com. Esta política explica qué datos tratamos, para qué, dónde viven y cómo puedes borrarlos.
2. Datos que recopilamos
2.1 Datos de tu cuenta en la app
- Correo electrónico y nombre (y foto de perfil si usas "Iniciar sesión con Google"): para crear y administrar tu cuenta.
- Tu actividad en la app (búsquedas, videos guardados, proyectos y guiones creados): para darte el servicio y mejorarlo.
- Tu plan y tu consumo: el plan que tienes, tu saldo de créditos, tu región de precio y el registro de cada acción que consume créditos (qué hiciste y cuánto costó). Sirve para cobrarte lo justo y para que tú mismo veas tu consumo.
- Tu opinión, si nos la das: el texto que escribas en "Tu opinión" y los 👍/👎 que marques. Si pides respuesta, guardamos también tu correo para contestarte; si no la pides, no lo guardamos.
- Tu propia clave de API de Google Cloud (opcional): solo si decides usar la función avanzada "usa tu propia llave" (BYOK). ⚠️ Se guarda tal cual, sin cifrar, porque la app necesita usarla para hacer las consultas en tu nombre. Es tuya y puedes borrarla cuando quieras desde Suscripción. Si prefieres no darnos esa clave, simplemente no uses esa función: la app funciona igual.
2.2 Datos de YouTube (solo si conectas tu canal — es opcional)
Si decides conectar tu canal en la sección "Mi Canal", pedimos tu autorización mediante el consentimiento oficial de Google para DOS permisos de solo lectura:

Lo que NUNCA hacemos: no publicamos, editamos ni borramos nada en tu canal; no leemos tus mensajes ni comentarios privados; no accedemos a otros datos de tu cuenta de Google. Los permisos son estrictamente de lectura.
2.3 Datos públicos de YouTube
La app también analiza videos y canales públicos de YouTube —títulos, miniaturas, fechas y estadísticas visibles para cualquiera— para mostrarte tendencias y estadísticas agregadas. Eso no involucra tu cuenta ni tus datos: son contenidos que sus autores publicaron abiertamente.
3. Para qué usamos tus datos de YouTube
Exclusivamente para las funciones que ves en la app:
- Mostrarte el panel de "Mi Canal" (tus vistas, retención y mejores videos).
- Cruzar la retención real de tus videos con los guiones que escribiste en la app, para mostrarte en qué minuto exacto pierdes audiencia y mejorar tu siguiente video.
- Personalizar las recomendaciones y guiones que la app genera para ti.
3.1 Actualización automática (importante que lo sepas)
Mientras tu canal esté conectado, un proceso automático nuestro consulta **una vez al día** la retención de los videos que tú mismo has vinculado a tus proyectos, aunque no abras la app. Es lo que permite que "en qué minuto perdiste audiencia" esté listo cuando entras, en vez de hacerte esperar. Solo lee; nunca escribe nada en tu canal. **Se detiene en el momento en que desconectas el canal o revocas el acceso desde tu cuenta de Google.**
**No vendemos tus datos. No los compartimos con terceros para publicidad. No los usamos para entrenar modelos de IA generales.**
Uso limitado (Google Limited Use)
El uso que VidArchitect hace de la información recibida de las APIs de Google se adhiere a la Política de Datos de Usuario de los Servicios API de Google, incluidos los requisitos de Uso Limitado (Limited Use).
4. Dónde viven tus datos y cuánto duran
4.1 En qué país están
Tus datos se guardan en servidores situados en Estados Unidos. Concretamente: la base de datos está en Supabase (sobre infraestructura de AWS en Virginia) y la aplicación corre en un servidor de Hetzner en Ashburn, Virginia.
Si vives en la Unión Europea, en el Reino Unido o en otro país con reglas propias de protección de datos, esto significa que tus datos salen de tu país. Te lo decimos porque tienes derecho a saberlo antes de registrarte. Los proveedores que usamos son empresas que ofrecen los contratos y las garantías estándar del sector para estas transferencias, y trabajamos con ellos sobre esa base.
Si prefieres no tener datos alojados fuera de tu país, la vía es no crear la cuenta: no podemos ofrecer hoy alojamiento en otra región.
4.2 Qué nos permite tratarlos
- Para darte el servicio que pediste (tu cuenta, tus búsquedas, tus proyectos, tus guiones, el cobro si tienes un plan): tratamos esos datos porque son necesarios para cumplir lo que acordamos contigo al crear la cuenta. Sin ellos, la app no funciona.
- Con tu permiso, y solo mientras lo mantengas (conectar tu canal de YouTube, generar voz, recibir avisos del Cazador): son funciones opcionales que activas tú y puedes desactivar cuando quieras, sin perder el resto del servicio.
- Porque nos interesa que la app funcione bien (medir qué se usa y qué falla, evitar abusos, sostener los costes): aquí usamos lo mínimo y siempre agregado. Puedes oponerte escribiéndonos.
4.3 Dónde se guardan y cuánto duran
- Tus datos se almacenan en Supabase (PostgreSQL, infraestructura en la nube con cifrado en tránsito y en reposo).
- De la conexión de YouTube guardamos: tu token de actualización (para no pedirte autorización cada vez), el identificador y nombre de tu canal, y las métricas agregadas necesarias para las funciones descritas (p. ej. el patrón de retención de tus videos). Las analíticas detalladas se consultan al momento y se cachean temporalmente (minutos) para rendimiento.
- Conservamos los datos mientras tu cuenta exista.
5. Tus derechos sobre tus datos (tú tienes el control)
5.1 Lo que puedes pedirnos, y lo que tardamos
Escríbenos a soporte@vidarchitect.com y respondemos en un máximo de 30 días, casi siempre mucho antes. No hay formularios ni condiciones:
- Ver qué tenemos tuyo — te mandamos una copia de tus datos.
- Llevártelos — en un fichero que puedas abrir y usar en otro sitio.
- Corregir lo que esté mal — un nombre, un correo, cualquier dato equivocado.
- Borrarlo todo — lo puedes hacer tú mismo (abajo), o lo hacemos nosotros.
- Oponerte a que usemos tus datos para medir el uso de la app.
- Que paremos mientras revisamos una reclamación tuya.
Si crees que no lo hemos hecho bien, puedes reclamar ante la autoridad de protección de datos de tu país. Preferimos que nos lo digas primero a nosotros, pero es tu derecho y no hace falta que pases por aquí.
5.2 Lo que puedes hacer tú mismo, ahora
- Desconectar tu canal: botón "Desconectar" en Mi Canal — borra al instante el token de acceso y los datos de conexión (identificador y nombre de tu canal), y detiene toda consulta futura. Con total claridad: las métricas que ya calculamos y que están pegadas a tus propios proyectos (por ejemplo la curva de retención del video que vinculaste) se quedan contigo, para que desconectar no te borre tu historial de trabajo. Se van cuando borras ese proyecto, o todas de golpe si borras tu cuenta.
- Revocar desde Google: puedes retirar el acceso de VidArchitect en cualquier momento en https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Borrar tu cuenta completa: al eliminar tu cuenta, TODOS tus datos (bóveda, proyectos, conexión de YouTube, actividad) se borran de forma automática e irreversible de nuestra base de datos.
- También puedes escribirnos a soporte@vidarchitect.com y lo hacemos por ti.
6. Niños
VidArchitect no está dirigida a menores de 13 años (o la edad mínima que exija tu país), en línea con los propios Términos de Servicio de YouTube. No recopilamos datos de menores a sabiendas.
7. Servicios de terceros que usa la app
- Google/YouTube (API de datos y analíticas): sujeto a los Términos de Servicio de YouTube y la Política de Privacidad de Google.
- Supabase (base de datos y autenticación).
- Anthropic (Claude) y Google (Gemini) para generar análisis y guiones: les enviamos solo el contenido necesario de cada solicitud (p. ej. el tema de tu guion), nunca tus credenciales ni tu token de YouTube.
- ElevenLabs (solo si usas la función de voz): para convertir tu guion en audio le enviamos el texto de ese guion. Es la única forma de sintetizar la voz, y solo ocurre cuando pulsas el botón de generar voz — nunca de forma automática.
- Resend (y Gmail como respaldo) para enviarte correos: la confirmación de tu cuenta, la recuperación de contraseña y —si activas el Cazador— los avisos de los videos que encuentra. Ven tu dirección de correo y el contenido de esos mensajes.
Correos que te enviamos: los de tu cuenta (confirmar el registro, recuperar la contraseña) y, solo si tú creas un radar en el Cazador, un resumen con los videos que encontró. No te enviamos publicidad ni te apuntamos a ninguna lista de correo.
Invitaciones a creadores (si aún no eres usuario): durante la fase de prueba escribimos a mano, uno a uno, a algunos creadores de YouTube, usando **la dirección que ellos mismos publicaron en la descripción de su canal** para que les escriban. Cada mensaje dice de dónde salió su dirección, va firmado por una persona y anuncia que no habrá un segundo envío. Si prefieres que borremos tu dirección, respóndenos o escribe a soporte@vidarchitect.com y se elimina el mismo día; también dejamos anotado que no se te vuelva a contactar. No compramos ni vendemos listas de correo, y esas direcciones no se comparten con nadie.
8. Cambios a esta política
Si cambiamos esta política, actualizaremos la fecha de arriba y, si el cambio es significativo, te avisaremos dentro de la app.

1. Who we are
VidArchitect ("the app", "we", "us") is an analytics and strategy tool for YouTube creators, available at vidarchitect.com. This policy explains what data we process, why, where it lives, and how you can delete it.
2. Data we collect
2.1 Your app account data
- Email and name (and profile photo if you use "Sign in with Google"): to create and manage your account.
- Your activity in the app (searches, saved videos, projects and scripts you create): to provide and improve the service.
- Your plan and usage: your plan, credit balance, pricing region, and a log of each action that spends credits (what you did and what it cost). We use it to bill you correctly and to show you your own consumption.
- Your feedback, if you give it: the text you write in "Your feedback" and the 👍/👎 you click. If you ask for a reply we also store your email to answer you; if you don't, we don't store it.
- Your own Google Cloud API key (optional): only if you choose to use the advanced "bring your own key" (BYOK) feature. ⚠️ It is stored as-is, not encrypted, because the app needs to use it to make requests on your behalf. It is yours and you can delete it at any time from the Subscription page. If you'd rather not give us that key, simply don't use that feature — the app works the same without it.
2.2 YouTube data (only if you connect your channel — this is optional)
If you choose to connect your channel in the "My Channel" section, we request your authorization through Google's official consent screen for TWO read-only permissions:

What we NEVER do: we do not post, edit, or delete anything on your channel; we do not read your private messages or comments; we do not access any other data in your Google account. The permissions are strictly read-only.
2.3 Public YouTube data
The app also analyzes public YouTube videos and channels — titles, thumbnails, dates, and statistics visible to anyone — to show you trends and aggregated statistics. This does not involve your account or your data: it is content its authors published openly.
3. How we use your YouTube data
Only for the features you see in the app:
- Show you the "My Channel" dashboard (your views, retention, and top videos).
- Overlay your videos' real audience retention against the scripts you wrote in the app, so you can see at which exact minute viewers drop off and improve your next video.
- Personalize the recommendations and scripts the app generates for you.
3.1 Automated refresh (important to know)
While your channel is connected, an automated process of ours checks once a day the retention of the videos you yourself linked to your projects, even if you don't open the app. That is what makes "at which minute you lost your audience" ready when you come in, instead of making you wait. It only reads; it never writes anything to your channel. It stops the moment you disconnect the channel or revoke access from your Google account.
**We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising. We do not use it to train general AI models.**
Limited Use (Google)
VidArchitect's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Where your data lives and how long
4.1 Which country it is in
Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. Specifically: the database is on Supabase (running on AWS infrastructure in Virginia) and the application runs on a Hetzner server in Ashburn, Virginia.
If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another country with its own data-protection rules, this means your data leaves your country. We tell you because you have the right to know before signing up. The providers we use are companies that offer the industry-standard contracts and safeguards for such transfers, and we work with them on that basis.
If you would rather not have data hosted outside your country, the way out is not to create the account: we cannot offer hosting in another region today.
4.2 What allows us to process it
- To give you the service you asked for (your account, your searches, your projects, your scripts, billing if you have a plan): we process that data because it is necessary to perform what we agreed with you when you created the account. Without it, the app does not work.
- With your permission, and only while you keep it (connecting your YouTube channel, generating voice-overs, receiving Hunter alerts): these are optional features you turn on and can turn off whenever you want, without losing the rest of the service.
- Because we have an interest in the app working well (measuring what is used and what breaks, preventing abuse, sustaining costs): here we use the minimum and always in aggregate. You can object by writing to us.
4.3 Where it is kept and how long
- Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest).
- From your YouTube connection we store: your refresh token (so we don't have to ask for authorization every time), your channel's id and name, and the aggregated metrics needed for the features described (e.g., your videos' retention pattern). Detailed analytics are queried on demand and cached only briefly (minutes) for performance.
- We keep your data for as long as your account exists.
5. Your rights over your data (you're in control)
5.1 What you can ask us for, and how long we take
Write to soporte@vidarchitect.com and we reply within 30 days at most, almost always much sooner. No forms, no conditions:
- See what we hold about you — we send you a copy of your data.
- Take it with you — in a file you can open and use elsewhere.
- Correct anything wrong — a name, an email, any incorrect detail.
- Delete all of it — you can do it yourself (below), or we do it for you.
- Object to us using your data to measure app usage.
- Have us pause while we review a complaint from you.
If you believe we have not handled it properly, you can complain to the data-protection authority in your country. We would rather you told us first, but it is your right and you do not have to come through us.
5.2 What you can do yourself, right now
- Disconnect your channel: the "Disconnect" button in My Channel immediately deletes your access token and connection data (your channel's id and name), and stops all future queries. To be completely clear: the metrics we already computed that are attached to your own projects (for example the retention curve of the video you linked) stay with you, so disconnecting doesn't wipe your work history. They are removed when you delete that project, or all at once if you delete your account.
- Revoke from Google: you can withdraw VidArchitect's access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Delete your entire account: when you delete your account, ALL your data (library, projects, YouTube connection, activity) is deleted automatically and irreversibly from our database.
- You can also email us at soporte@vidarchitect.com and we'll do it for you.
6. Children
VidArchitect is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), consistent with YouTube's own Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Third-party services the app uses
- Google / YouTube (Data and Analytics API): subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
- Supabase (database and authentication).
- Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini) to generate analysis and scripts: we send only the content needed for each request (e.g., your script's topic), never your credentials or your YouTube token.
- ElevenLabs (only if you use the voice feature): to turn your script into audio we send the text of that script. It is the only way to synthesize the voice, and it happens only when you press the generate-voice button — never automatically.
- Resend (with Gmail as a fallback) to send you email: your account confirmation, password recovery, and — if you enable the Hunter — the alerts about the videos it finds. They see your email address and the content of those messages.
Emails we send you: account emails (sign-up confirmation, password recovery) and, only if you create a Hunter radar, a digest of the videos it found. **We do not send you advertising and we do not add you to any mailing list.**
Invitations to creators (if you are not a user yet): during the trial phase we write by hand, one by one, to a few YouTube creators, using **the address they themselves published in their channel description** so that people can contact them. Every message says where the address came from, is signed by a person, and states that there will be no second email. If you would rather we deleted your address, reply to us or write to soporte@vidarchitect.com and it is removed the same day; we also record that you should not be contacted again. We do not buy or sell mailing lists, and those addresses are not shared with anyone.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, if the change is significant, notify you within the app.
